A man who allegedly ran into woods after stabbing his stepfather and mother was arrested Tuesday. 

Luke Aaron Barton, 27, of Rabbit Branch Road posted $13,500 bond on charges of aggravated domestic assault and domestic assaults. Barton allegedly stabbed his stepfather in the chest and pushed his mother to the ground Aug, 7, the victims and witnesses told the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office. 

Thefts 

A Bedford County woman says a man known to her removed two horses and a boat from her U.S. 231 South property within the past few weeks. 

She told investigators at least one horse was sold without her involvement.
