PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Bedford County Board of Commissioners
On January 28th, 2025, the Bedford County Regional
Planning Commission voted to favorably recommend
amendments to the Zoning Resolution of Bedford Coun-
ty, ver. 11.32, Art. II, Section 2.070 (Accessory Use Reg-
ulations), Art. III, Section 3.390 (Temporary Use Reg-
ulations, and Art. VII, Section 7.020 (Definitions). The
amendments would define RV’s, Mini-Storage Buildings,
and Ready Removable structures, as well as to allow the
administration of RV’s, Ready Removable’s, and Mini-
Barns used as permanent residential structures, as well
as to better define temporary medical permits. On March
11, 2025 this Zoning Resolution was deferred for 30
days by the Bedford County Board of Commissioners.
The public hearing will occur immediately before the
Bedford County Commission meeting which will begin
at 7:00 p.m. on April 8th, 2025. The public hearing and
commission meeting will be held in the old Courthouse,
