Thomas Chesley Enloe Sr., 89, of Shelbyville died Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
Private family graveside services will be held Friday, June 24, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Revs. Ron DeWitt and Andy Keffer officiating.
He was born June 29, 1932 in Winnsboro, South Carolina; was a retired employee of Uniroyal and Wilson Sporting Goods and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, Korean War. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene of Shelbyville; a member of the Gideons and served on the governing board of the Child Development Center and boards of the state district and local branches of the Family Support Program.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William George Enloe and Maggie Mae Stillwell Enloe; his wife, Georgia Pearl Edenfield Enloe; a daughter, Beverly June Enloe; a son, Thomas C. Enloe Jr. and his brother, Robert L. Enloe.
He is survived by two daughters, Kathryn Enloe of Shelbyville, Barbara Jean (Scott) Rambo of New Orleans, La.; two grandchildren, Will (Alison) Terry, Blake (Maggie) Rambo; two great-grandchildren, Roman Terry and Keiko Terry.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Gideons or to First Church of the Nazarene of Shelbyville.
Hillcrest Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
