Thomas “Tom” McGowan, 86, of Shelbyville died Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at his home.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2020, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Brother Ray Armstrong will officiate with burial to follow at Willow Mount Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m.

Mr. Thomas “Tom” McGowan, 86, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at home under the loving care of his family.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 11, 2020, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Brother Ray Armstrong will officiate with burial to follow at Willow Mount Cemetery.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
He was born May 22, 1934, in Whitwell, Tennessee, to the late Clarence McGowan and Nina Hocamp McGowan. He was a retired machine operator from Calsonic, a carpenter, and a member of Fellowship For Christ Church.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Anna Jo McGowan; a son, Rick (Kathy) Bennett, of Murfreesboro; three daughters, Cheryl Colvin, of Peoria, Illinois, Roxanna Schlick, of Chicago, Illinois, and Dianne Cook; five brothers, Wayne McGowan, of Shelbyville, Clarence McGowan, Jr., Anthony McGowan, Don Edward “Butch” McGowan, and Ricky McGowan, all of Whitwell, Tennessee; two sisters, Annette McGowan White and Shelia McGowan, of Whitwell, Tennessee; five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great grandchildren.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
