Van Allen Kimbro Jr., 79, of Normandy died Monday, November 28, 2022.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, Rev. Laurie Raulston officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4-7 p.m.
He was a member of Normandy Methodist Church; former Mayor of Normandy; a member of the Normandy Volunteer Fire Department; and retired employee of Createc of Tullahoma.
He was the son of the late Van Allen Kimbro Sr. and Mildred Juanita Brown Kimbro. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carole Biles Kimbro; daughter, Kathleen (Joshua) Boone; grandsons, Hunter (Cloey) Boone, Pyke Boone and Finnley Boone; great-grandson, Koda Boone; and a sister, Kay (Philip) Griner.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Normandy Volunteer Fire Department or Normandy Methodist Church.
