Mr. Vernon Ray Hill, 74, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at his home under the loving care and comfort of his family and Willowbrook Hospice.
Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2020, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Brother Dan Reed and Brother Jimmy Gray will officiate. The family will receive visitors beginning at 1 p.m.
He was born December 6, 1945, in Decherd, Tennessee, to the late James Allen Hill and Mildred Warren Hill. He owned and operated Little Bill’s Pony Rides and a welding fabrication shop. He was an avid gunsmith and attended New Vision Baptist of Unionville.
He is survived by his two daughters, Tina (Eddie) Smith, of Taft, Tennessee, and Tiffany (Dan) Reed, of Unionville; a sister, Ora Mae Ouellette; three brothers, Kenneth Hill, James Aaron "Jim" Hill, and Damon Hill; five grandchildren: Brandy (Justin) Swinford, Travis Smith, Lacey Reed, Haley Reed, and Will Reed.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
