UNIONVILLE — After Monday night’s match against Cannon County, the Community Viqueens have now out-scored their opponents 17-0.
Offense came in bunches for the Purple and Gold as Community found the back of the net nine times in a shutout effort against the Lady Lions.
There was plenty of offense to go around as Audrina Bearden got the scoring frenzy started just 12 minutes into the match.
She followed with a second strike barely 10 minutes later for the early 2-0 Community lead.
Not even a minute later, junior Zoey Dixon tacked on a third Viqueen score.
Marena Jacobs assisted Stevie Dickenson on the fourth Community score of the night.
Continuing to exert their will against an out-matched Lady Lion squad, Addison Brothers found the back of the net in the 31st minute, while she assisted Jacobs for the sixth score of the first half.
The Viqueens tacked on three more scores in the second half, including a second score by Dixon in the 43rd minute, a score by Jennifer Zuniga in the 51st minute and a final score by Julissa Rayo Ramirez.
“The girls played really well. We passed the ball great and played great defense,” Viqueen coach Chris Brothers said.
The Viqueens will be back home on Thursday and will face the Forrest Lady Rockets at 6 p.m.
