Mr. William “Bill” Smotherman, age 58, formerly of the Cedar Grove Community of Bedford County, died Friday, November 25, 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Bill was born in Detroit, Michigan and was a son of the late Marvin William and Shirley Madeline McKay Smotherman. He was a member of Cedar Grove Church and was a former employee of Shoney’s, Inc. in Shelbyville and Goodwill Industries in Tullahoma, Tennessee.
Mr. Smotherman is survived by his sisters, Sharon Smotherman, Cedar Grove. and Kendra Smotherman, Townsend, Tennessee; special caregiver, Angelia Blakley, Nashville, TN; several cousins and a very special Church family.
Funeral services were held Sunday, November 27, at Cedar Grove Church with Rev. Danny Freeman officiating. Burial followed in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
