Mr. William Earl “Uncle Merle” Morrow, 79, passed Sunday, October 17, 2021 at his residence. He was born on January 23, 1942 in Elora, Tennessee to the late John and Georgia Pruitt Morrow.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Georgia Pruitt Morrow; brother, John Morrow Jr.; sisters, Roberta Brown, Irene Simmons, Estelle Qualls and Wilma Johnson.
He joined the US Army where he served for 11 years. He also worked for Deutsch in Tullahoma until his retirement.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories to his brothers, Howard (Bobbie Jean) Morrow Sr., of Cowan Tn., and James (Delores) Morrow of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sisters, Willa Mae Morrow and Susie Ruth Morrow Kennerly of Nashville, TN, Leona Morrow Moss and Carolyn Carter (adopted sister) of Indianapolis, IN, Georgia Ann (Ed) King of Shelbyville, TN, Gertrude Stovall of Decherd, TN and Clara Mae Talley of Memphis, TN and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation, Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 1:00-2:00PM at Elk River Tabernacle in Winchester with the Funeral service to follow at 2:00PM with Pastor John Patton, officiating and Pastor Dwight Rowe, eulogist.
