Eagles crush Marshall Co. on senior night
It was a successful Senior Night for Shelbyville Central as the Golden Eagles rolled past Marshall County 8-1 on Monday evening. Seniors Dalton Puckett, Cole McKamey, Caleb Green and Austin Johnson were honored before the game, but had a special moment of throwing with their fathers before the first pitch.
Puckett got the call on the mound for the Eagles, pitching a complete game while allowing only one run off seven hits with six strikeouts and a pair of walks.
Johnson ripped a double and single, Mason Wright and Hunter Wilhelm each doubled while Slayde Simmons and Mason Landers added a pair of single apiece for the winners.
