Barbara Jean Kibble, 69, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020. She was born in Lincoln County, TN on September 16, 1950 to the late James Thomas and Alberta Nobles Buchanan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter: Angela Kibble; one sister: Annie Suggs; and six brothers: Jerry, Jewel, Jimmy, Charles, Alvin and George Buchanan. Mrs. Kibble worked as a cook at Marvin’s Family Restaurant and was a Jehovah’s Witness.
Mrs. Kibble is survived by her husband of 52 years: Gilbert Lee Kibble of Fayetteville; two daughters: Vickie Buchanan of Fayetteville and Pamela Kibble (Tyrall Henderson) of Shelbyville; one son: Devon Kibble of Fayetteville; two sisters: Brenda (Ronnie) Goodrich and Linda (Elbert) Drake both of Hazel Green, AL; one brother: David (Joyce) Buchanan of Fayetteville; 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Homegoing services will be conducted on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery.
