FAYETTEVILLE — During a tri-match on Tuesday at Pebble Creek, Hannah Campbell continued her strong play and tied for top-honors with Lawrence County’s Emma Rochelle with a round-low 36.
While Shelbyville wasn’t able to turn in a complete score with only one golfer, Campbell continued to show the competitive edge with some of her best play so far this season.
Lawrence County won the girls’ team match with a combined 80, while Lincoln Co. finished second with a 91.
In the boys’ competition, Shelbyville took second, bested by Lawrence County’s 155.
The Eagles edged out Lincoln County by eight strokes for second place, with a combined 173.
Lincoln County finished third with a 181.
For the Eagles, Brady O’Neal finished with a team-best 41, while Jordan Meece and Ashton Hardison both shot a 43.
Hunter Wilhelm finished the varsity scoring for the Eagles with a 48.
