Cindy C. Cox, age 63, of Shelbyville, TN passed from this life Sunday, January 9, 2022, at her home with loved ones by her side and under the loving care of Caris Healthcare after an extended illness.

A native of Bedford County, Cindy was born June 18, 1958 to Perry Wanda Hallmark Williams and the late Floyd Avery Cook.

Cindy worked in the business office at The Webb School for 14 years, and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Shelbyville. She loved singing with the church choir, and supporting local causes, such as, First Choice Pregnancy Counseling Center and Homes of Hope.

She was survived by: loving husband of 13 years, Ted Cox of Shelbyville, TN; children, Tony (Jennifer) Williams of Roseville, CA, Cory Cook of Columbia, SC, Josh (Shelby) McGee of Mills River, NC, and LeAnnah Jones of Shelbyville, TN; grandchildren, Emma, Audrey, Keaton, Lawson, Conrad, Jolene, Chanston, and Jaxston; brothers, David (Angelika) Cook of Reeders, PA, and Kenny (Mary) Cook of Shelbyville, TN; sister, Theresa Adams of Clinton, TN; step-father, Harvey Williams of Shelbyville, TN; and step-sons, Lee (Joyelle) Cox of Indianapolis, IN, and Adam (Mallory) Cox of Atlanta, GA. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Shelbyville with Pastor Jeff Rasnick officiating.

Visitation will be held prior to memorial service starting at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
