The Shelby Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently held its annual Good Citizens Tea at First Christian Church. The awards are given to seniors at Central High School, Community High School and Cascade High School. Recipients of the Good Citizens Award must demonstrate qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.
This year's recipients are Ella Cobb from Central High School, Gage Ralston from Community High School and Seth Countess from Cascade High School.
In attendance were members of the Shelby Chapter DAR, the award recipients, their families, and school guidance counselors.
