McMINNVILLE — Shelbyville Central’s Golden Eaglette softball team closed out the season with a 7-1 loss at Warren County in the District 6 4-A tournament on Tuesday evening.
The Eaglettes lone run came in the top of the first inning.
Alyssa Smith ripped a double and single to lead Shelbyville Central at the plate.
Kora Forbes went the distance in the circle to claim the win.
Alyssa Mosley smacked a pair of double to leads the winners at the plate.
“This was a heartbreaking loss to end the season,” Eaglette coach Shaun Whitaker said. “This year had been full of ups and downs, but it has also been so much fun. We are really going to miss this amazing group of seniors.
