This fall has already been packed full of local entertainment and festivals. We’ve included several events going on this weekend around the county.  

• Cavaliers Quartet, Saturday, Oct. 9, at Purpose-Full Posse Place, 1815 Highway 130 East in Shelbyville. Dinner is at 5 p.m. Jam is at 5:30 p.m. Concert is at 6 p.m. Bring a chair. On the menu is pulled pork and beef sausages. Plates are $10. Soda and wateris$1.  
• A “Jeep Cruise-In” will be held atGrumpy’s, located in the Piggly Wiggly shopping center on Union Street, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9. Music and vendorsis planned.  
• Newton Nissan South on Highway 231 North will have its annual Trunk or Treat event 3 p.m. Sunday. Organizers note that everyone wanting to participate must be in line no later than 4:30 p.m. Newton provides the candy which will be distributed.
