On Monday, the 54th anniversary of the passage of the Fair Housing Act, Bedford County Mayor Chad Graham signed a proclamation declaring April as Fair Housing Month in Bedford County. The Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status and national origin.
