A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Feida Henry Newell, 84, who passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024, will be 4 PM Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at First Chirstian Church. Pastor Dan Asche will officiate.
The family will receive visitors 2 PM until service time Wednesday at the church.
She was born August 25, 1939, in Bedford County, to the late Dewey Lee and Jimmie Dean Henry, Sr. A 1957 graduate of Shelbyville Central High School, she worked alongside her husband, Bobby Newell, in the ownership and
operation of Bobby Newell State Farm Insurance Agency. She was a faithful member of First Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and brothers, Elizabeth Henry Hill, Dewey Lee Henry, Jr. and James Douglas Henry.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Robert Franklin “Bobby” Newell; a son, Eric Newell, and his wife, Robin, of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Parker Newell, and his wife Shelby, and Maggie Newell; nieces, Connie Reed and
Cindy Peek.
Freida would be honored with memorials to First Christian Church, P.O Box 466, Shelbyville, TN 37162. Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
