Gary Lynwood Williams, 83, of Shelbyville, died February 3, 2024.
Funeral Services were held 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 7th,
at Hillcrest Funeral Home Lance Bennett officiating. Burial followed
at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation began at 10:00 A.M.
He was born March 28, 1940 in Murdock, Illinois; a retired electrician
for Standard Forging and a maintenance tech for Pillsbury. He was
a member of Fairlane Church of Christ; a 32nd Degree Mason and a
Veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Gleason M. Williams
and Dorothy King Williams; his wife, Mary Bishop Williams and a
sister, Phyllis King Wykoff.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda (Brian) Hiatt; his caregiver
and friend, David Parker; granddaughter, Amy (Cyrus) Hall Phyfer;
great grandsons, Aidan Hall and Cameron Hall; a sister, Lana (Ted)
Holland; niece, Vicki Wykoff; nephew, Bob (Carol) Wykoff and
several great nieces and nephews.
