LYNNVILLE — The Community Viqueens could only muster one hit against Richland Lady Raider pitcher Ava Shrader while the Lady Raiders only had three hits against Viqueen hurler Taylar Wessner, but in the end it came down to three Community errors that led to three Richland runs in the third inning as the Lady Raiders shut out the Viqueens 3-0 in a softball contest Monday.
It was a pitcher’s duel from the outset as the teams struggled to produce base runners. 
The Lady Raiders found an opening in the third as a Richland single followed by the three Viqueen miscues gave the Lady Raiders a 3-0 lead.
The Viqueens best chance to score came in the fourth inning. 
After two outs, Abi Brown singled for Community’s only hit while a Lady Raider error put two Viqueen runners on base, but Community could not plate a run.
There were no serious threats the rest of the way as the Lady Raiders took the win.
Shrader struck out 11 for the Lady Raiders while Wessner fanned six for the Viqueens.  There were no walks in the game.
Community hosts Blackman Thursday in its final regular season game.
