James William Marr, 82, of Shelbyville died April 30, 2024.
Graveside Services were held 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 3rd, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Mark Pierce officiating. Visitation was from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home prior to service. He was born September 15, 1941, in Moore County, TN.; a Graduate of Moore County High School - Class of '59; a retired employee of Jostens where he worked for 46+ years; and a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Fred Marr and Gerta Wiser Marr; a brother, Herman Lee Marr and a sister, Carolyn Jane Delffs.
James is survived by his wife of 59 years, Elizabeth Scott Faulkner Marr; his daughter, Tammy Leigh Marr Tucker (Christopher Norman); sisters, Brenda Warren (Charles), Judy Sanders (Charles), Sherry Nowlin and Cathy Prater; three grandchildren, Christopher James Tucker (Ashlee), Jeremy Charles Tucker, Elizabeth Carol Tucker and four great grandchildren.
