Joe Roy "Joey" Nichols Jr., 65, of Shelbyville died April 22, 2023. Memorial Services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at Hillcrest Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Gray officiating. Visitation will begin at 12 noon.
He was born July 29, 1957 at Ft. Bragg, N.C., and was retired employee of Corsicana Manufacturing Co.
He was the son of the late Joe Roy Nichols Sr. and Zelma Nell Atnip McAnally Nichols.
Joey is survived by his wife of 30 years, Virginia Gail Clark Nichols; daughters, Misty (Adam) Vincent, Kathy Sue (Jacob) Perryman; seven grandchildren, Kalley Vincent, Mallory Vincent, Kenzie Wydock, Austin Vincent, Izzy Perryman, Lily Mae Perryman and Emily Vincent; brothers, Tommy McAnally; sisters, Sandra McAnally and Paulette Lovvorn.
Memorials may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Shelbyville.
