Joyce Marie Brown, 66, of Bell Buckle, died peacefully on Monday Jan 29, 2024, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Bedford County, Tennessee surrounded by her immediate family members. Joyce was a unique individual who marched to the beat of her own drum. She loved her furry friends Boston and Lucy. Joyce retired from Yates after being employed for over 38 years at the Nissan plant in Smyrna and was living on the family farm in Bell Buckle. Joyce graduated from Cascade High School in 1975. Joyce was born on July 21, 1957 in Wichita Kansas to Albert Dean Brown who died September 2002 and her mother Claudine Blake Brown who passed September of 2023. Joyce Marie is survived by her three siblings, two brothers Joe Brown of Wartrace, Tennessee and Jimmy (Renee) Brown of Manchester, Tennessee and her sister Gina (Keith) Jones of Wartrace. Two nephews Justin (Svenja) Brown of Catawba, North Carolina and Brandon Floyd of Wartrace; and one great niece, Scarlet Brown of Catawba North Carolina. She is also survived by her Uncle Dale (Roberta) Blake of Danville, Nebraska and Aunt Neola Blake of McCook, Nebraska; Also several cousins of Nebraska and Colorado. Per her wishes she was cremated. A Celebrations of Life will be held in her memory at a later date and her ashes will be buried at Hollywood Cemetery. Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
