In their inaugural season, the Cascade Lady Champions continue to look for their first win, but continue to make strides in each match.
Though the Lady Champs suffered a 3-1 defeat against perennial power Eagleville, Cascade still continued to fight in each individual set.
It was a slow start for Cascade in the first set, falling 25-10.
The Lady Champs rallied in the second set and battled the Lady Eagles to a 25-16 final score.
Still, Cascade trailed 2-0 and in a match set, the Lady Champs rallied to a 25-20 team victory to avoid the shutout.
Eagleville eventually finished off the match in the fourth set, defeating Cascade 25-17.
Still, Cascade began to see leaders emerge on the court.
Caroline McKamey recorded 12 kills for Cascade, while Hayden Jones added 12 assists and a pair of blocks.
Cascade will hit the road on Monday for its next match at LaVergne at 6 p.m.
