Lisa Ann Smith, 61, of Jasper, Tennessee was called home on Monday, July 4, 2022.
She was born to the late Johnny Ray Cantley and the late Barbara Ann Moles Cantley Waters on January 8, 1961. Lisa loved her family and grandchildren with her whole heart. She enjoyed listening to the Crab Family Gospel Music band, and she was a very giving person to others. Lisa loved her dog Lucy, as well as Alabama football.
Funeral services were Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Tate Funeral Home, Jasper, Tennessee, with Pastor Randy Flood and Pastor Joe VanAllman officiating. Burial followed at Orme Cemetery in South Pittsburg.
Lisa is preceded in death by her father, Johnny Ray Cantley, mother, Barbara Ann Moles Cantley Waters, brother, Leonard Cantley; and sister, Etta Carbone.
She leaves her memories to her husband, Lawrence Merlo; son, Joey Lee Miles; daughters. Rebecca Stacey (Jeremy), Lechelle Miles, Tasha Hendon (Josh); brothers, Charles Cantley, Ray Cantley; and sister, Karen Boothe; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Joey Lee Miles, Josh Hendon, Seth Stacey, Lucas Hill, Dylan Hendon and Hunter Hill.
Honorary pallbearers were Jayce Hill, Jaylon Hill, Gabe Hendon, Tyson Broyles and Lance Stacey.
