Michael Eugene “Mike” Molder, age 54, of Bell Buckle, TN passed from this life Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Vanderbilt-Bedford Hospital. 

A native of Bedford County, Mike was born April 2, 1967, to Robert Eugene and Betty Gentry Molder. He is preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Molder; and granddaughter, Stephanee’Armstrong. 

Mike worked as a maintenance tech with Nissan for 30 years and was a faithful member of Northfork Baptist Church. He was a sports enthusiast. He loved to cheer for the Tennessee Vols, and in his free time he hosted Friday Main Event on Youtube covering TN high school football games. 
 
Mike was a loving and devoted husband, father, Popa, son, brother and friend. Mike was funny, had a smile that would light up any room, and was loved by everyone that knew him! 

 Along with his parents Mike is survived by: loving wife of 19 years, Joan Molder of Bell Buckle; children, Josh Molder of Bell Buckle, Jennifer (Dallas) Johnson of Murfreesboro, Aimee’ (Justin) Armstrong of Shelbyville, Steven (Destiny) Taylor of Bell Buckle; grandchildren, Gracie Taylor, Caiden Bain, Kacyn Armstrong, Paislee Taylor, Haylee’ Armstrong, Norah Johnson, and Ella Johnson; sister, Susan (Andy) Haynes of Shelbyville; brother, Steven (Amy) Molder of Bell Buckle; also 5 nephews and 2 nieces. 

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 26, 2021, in the Chapel of Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Pastor Rob McKammey officiating. Burial will follow at Pressgrove Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Saturday September 25, 2021, and again on Sunday, prior to funeral service starting at 1:00 p.m. both at Doak-Howell Funeral Home.
