A Quilt of Valor was presented to former U.S. Marine Capt. Patrick Brown of The 2nd Force Recon and served from 1992-1997. The quilt was made by Patrick's mother, Shirley Brown, a member of Happy Hands Quilt Guild of Shelbyville. Mrs. Brown traveled to Boise, Idaho to give the quilt to her son.
