Mr. Robert G. “Bob” Pearce, age 79, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022, at his home, under the loving care and comfort of his family and Aveanna Hospice.
Funeral services, with full military honors, will be 5 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. The family will receive visitors 3-5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Bob was born September 17, 1942, in Long Beach, California, to Roger G. and Fontelle Edna Whittlesey Pearce. He was a veteran of the United Sates Navy, and a retired construction worker. He held the position of past President and Pilgrim Degree Holder from Moose Lodge #2197. He was also Past Tennessee Moose Association President.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Jernigan Pearce, in May 2021; a grandchild, Constance “Nickle” Ferrell; sister, Barbara Graham; brothers, Donnie, David Pearce, Jimmy Pearce; and brother-in-law, Jack Hicks.
Survivors include daughters, Cindy Hultgren and Tammy Ferrell, both of Shelbyville; a son, William Thomas Hart, of Washington state; sisters, Diane Fiore, and her husband Larry, of Colorado, and Debbie Hicks, of Colorado; grandchildren, Krystle Faith Brinkley, and her husband Shannon and James Ferrell, III, and his wife Kim; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
