Ollie Steve Elliott, 70, of Normandy, died January 31, 2024.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 3,
at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Blanton's Chapel
Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M.
He was born March 7, 1953 in Coffee County, TN. Mr. Elliott was a retired
law enforcement officer of 28 years for the Shelbyville Police
Department and the Bedford County Sheriff's Department; a
Veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Baptist Church.
He loved farming and restoring cars and tractors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. Elliott and
Louise Goodwin Haynes; his first wife, Nettie Carole Elliott;
a daughter, Joy Carole Elliott West; brothers, Johnny Dale Elliott
and James David Elliott.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Ann Rhone Elliott; a daughter,
Rachel Elliott (Tim) Cantrell; sons, Nathan Andrew (Linda) Hill,
William Jeremy Hise, John (Guadalupe) Hise; a sister, Wanda
DeSplinter; nine grandchildren, David (Michelle) Cantrell,
Jessica (Wesley) Higdon, Andrew (Emily) Hill, Taylor (Cortney) Hill,
Caitlin West, Lindsey West, Abigail Creson, Christopher Hise, Jay Hise;
nine great grandchildren, Gabby, Nolan, James, Charlotte, Reed,
Tripp, Millie, Aida and Alex.
