An SUV reported stolen Monday morning from a home on Barrett Road had been found earlier wrecked, a Bedford County Sheriff’s Office report said.

The 2003 Buick Rendevous was gone when the owner came out of her home around 7:30 a.m. It was found at the intersection of Haunt Hollow Road and Enon Church Road.

• A purse containing a small amount of money was stolen overnight Tuesday from an unlocked vehicle at an Earnhart Street home, Shelbyville police were told.
