High winds in spotty locations across Bedford County Thursday afternoon left isolated wind damage, such as several trees across St. James Place in the Union Station area. A large tree fell at Bedford County Department of Education headquarters on Madison Street. More than 3 inches of rain fell at Shelbyville Municipal Airport. The highest wind gust recorded at the airport was 44 mph.
