Shelbyville-Bedford County Veterans Day parade begins at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Veterans Service Office has reported a good number of entries this year. Prior to the parade, at 10 a.m., a historic marker will be unveiled on the east side of the square (near Pope’s Café on the square,) honoring Capt. Charles Davis, a Medal of Honor recipient from the Civil War.
