William “Bill” Walls, 89, of Rover died at his home on Sunday, January 9, 2022.
Per his request, he is to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
A native of Marshall County, he was the son of the late Jolly Walls Sr. and the late Bessie Fagan Walls. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by: sisters, Virginia Moore, Mary Sue Bell, Sarah Morgan, and Gayle Braden; brothers, Vernon, Nolan, Pat, and Jim Walls; also infant twin brother and sister, Freddie & Freda Walls.
He is survived by: loving wife of 65 years, Jean Blanton Walls; two daughters, Melissa Cleek of Shelbyville, and Angela (Dwight) Thompson of Bell Buckle; grandchildren, Zeke (Lauren) Cleek, and Ben Thompson; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Collins, Lollie Petty, Wanda Clark, and Kay (Jackie) King; brothers, Gene (Sarah) Walls, and Jolly (Nancy) Walls, Jr.; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Doak-Howell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
