William Lavon Corder Sr., 78, of Shelbyville died Sunday, October 3, 2021.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, October 8th, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, Revs. Stephen Keene and Richard Stevenson officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Family asks that masks be worn at all services.
He was a retired employee of Goodrich of Tullahoma, a farmer and a member of Southside Baptist Church. William was a loving husband and father; a hard worker who loved spending time at the farm with his family and his dog “Blue”.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda Kilpatrick Corder; children, Von Corder (Kimberly), Jennifer Corder Hester; grandchildren, Corey Corder (Chelsea), Nolan Vannatta, Addison Corder and sister, Jeri Windrow (Malcolm). He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ruth Smith Corder.
