Moore County hung tough early on, trailing by just nine points, 19-10, at the end of the opening period, but then the floodgates opened up. Cascade outscored the Raiders by 13 points, 26-13, en route to a commanding 45-23 halftime advantage.

Coming out of the halftime locker room, the Champions did not let up, outscoring the Raiders once again, 23-17, to swell their lead to 68-40 at the end of the third quarter.

The hosts’ 28-point advantage allowed Doug Worsley to liberally empty his bench in the final period of play, and even with that in mind the Champions outscored Moore County one final time, 15-14, to reach the final margin of 84-53.

Cascade improves to 6-5 overall on the season. The Champions will return to action on Monday, December 29th, at Moore County against Warren County with tip-off scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
