LYNCHBURG, Tenn. – In their first game in 12 days, the Cascade Champions returned from the Thanksgiving break with a dominant blowout win at Moore County (0-3), 67-40, on Tuesday night.

Kaleb Kelso led the way for Cascade with a season-high 26 points on an efficient 10/17 from the field, Cooper McElroy scored a career-high 17 points, and Henry Stone chipped in with 10 points of his own in the win.

Meanwhile, Moore County’s Anderson Sharpe was the only Raider to score in double-figures with 11 points on the night.

Cascade dominated the game on the defensive end, forcing a whopping 34 turnovers by the Raiders, allowing the visitors to get out and run to the tune of a 20-0 advantage in transition points and 31-9 in points off turnovers. Despite connecting on just five threes – with Kelso accounting for three of them – the Champs doubled up Moore County in the paint as well, outscoring the hosts 40-20 inside.

However, the dam began to crack in the third quarter with Cascade growing its lead to 19 points, 47-28, at the start of the final frame before completely falling apart when the Champs closed with a 20-12 fourth quarter.
