NASHVILLE – Despite falling to Community on Tuesday, the Cascade Lady Champions remained in the Top 10 after taking down Chapel Hill on Friday, coming in at No. 9 for this week.

The Lady Champions were ranked as high as No. 3 a few weeks ago, and after back-to-back weeks of holding onto the No. 7 ranking, Cascade settled in at No. 9 on Monday despite going 1-1.  Janie Demonbreum’s squad also secured the No. 1 seed in the District 9-AA Tournament with a game to spare after grounding the Lady Rockets.

In Division I, each first-place vote is worth 10 points, second place is worth nine points which continues to the 10th-place vote, which receives one point.
