PULASKI, Tenn. – The Cascade Lady Champions emerged victorious against Richland and Giles County, respectively, while the Champions finished in second place behind the Raiders while one stroke ahead of the Bobcats in nine holes at Hillcrest Country Club on Monday.
The Lady Champs secured another win, 111-114-142, outlasting Richland by just three strokes thanks to senior Kaegan Young shooting a 44. Olivia Hale shot a 67.
For the Lady Raiders, Preslee Crabtree shot a 52 while Maddie Borges shot a 62 to finish in second place.
Giles County’s Sara Ella Reaves shot a 70 and Aubrey Norwood shot a 72 to finish in third.
Meanwhile, on the boys’ side, Cascade finished in second place, one stroke ahead of the hosts, Giles County, by a score of 154-187-188.
Richland, who coasted to first, was led by Riley Strickland shooting a 34. Jack Jackson shot a 38, Trey Fox shot a 40, and Dickey shot a 42.
Cascade was led by Jack Daretsky shooting a team-low 43, followed by Kolby Allen’s 46, then Eli Collard and senior Henry Stone who both shot a 48.
Giles County’s Cauden Eubank shot a 41 to lead the Bobcats. Tim Pickett shot a 47, then Westin Brumit and Collin Frierson both tied by shooting a 50.
Cascade is currently scheduled to return to the golf course in early September.
