MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee women's soccer announced on Thursday the addition of Lauren Moellering to its coaching staff as a graduate assistant.
Before joining the Blue Raiders, Moellering played soccer at Spring Arbor University from 2020 to 2023. During her tenure, the Cougars compiled a remarkable 72-6-8 record and achieved milestones such as winning the 2022 NAIA National Championship, making Final Four appearances in 2020 and 2023, reaching the Elite Eight in 2021, and earning three Crossroads League titles in 2021, 2023 regular season, and 2023 tournament.
Moellering was team captain in 2023 and was named the NAIA National Women's Soccer Champion of Character for her leadership. She also earned NAIA All-Academic Team and Crossroads League All-Conference Academic Team honors throughout her four years. She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in health and Exercise Science.
A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Moellering is the daughter of Beverly and Tom Moellering, and she has two younger sisters, Emma and Carley. She's currently enrolled in the MTSU MBA program pursuing a master's degree in business administration.
