PUBLIC NOTICE
The City of Shelbyville will be accepting Applications
for a Shelbyville Police Officer. Successful Applicants
will be required to pass a background check,
physical, psychological, and drug/alcohol test prior to
final consideration for the position. Applicants must
be a minimum age of 21 years old.
This is a full-time position with a pay range for Certified
Officers of $55,997 to $67,136, depending
on law enforcement experience. Non-certified starts
at $55,146.
The City currently provides the following for fulltime
employees:
