UNIONVILLE, Tenn. – The Community Vikings (5-2) returned to winning ways on Tuesday night with a dominant 59-29 win over Mt. Pleasant (3-3).

For the Tigers, Jayden McClure led the way with a team-high nine points, followed by seven points from Laik Schang.
Haskins set the tone early for the Vikings, single-handedly outscoring the Tigers, 9-6, en route to the hosts jumping out to a 17-6 lead at the end of the opening period. In the second quarter, Community kept up the defensive intensity, holding Mt. Pleasant to just three points in the period while growing the lead to 30-9 heading into the halftime locker room.
In the third quarter, Haskins once again controlled the offensive attack for Community. He connected on his second and third three-pointers of the night to help bring his total up to 24 points while the Vikings outscored the Tigers in the period as a team, 15-10, to take a commanding 45-19 lead heading into the final period.
