UNIONVILLE, Tenn. – Two Community Viqueen softball stars, Annie Prince and Haylee Webb, signed with the Chattanooga State Tigers on Friday morning to continue their softball careers at the next collegiate level.

Prince put together a dominant 2025 spring in the circle, compiling a 22-3 record as well as finishing with just a 0.85 ERA across 139.1 innings in 28 appearances. Prince struck out an incredible 295 batters while issuing just 34 walks and allowed opponents to bat just a paltry .103 at the plate. For good measure, Prince’s splits at the plate were .343/.373/.614 with an OPS of .987. She smacked eight doubles, drove in 16 runs, and homered three times.

“It’s a blessing,” Prince said, “I’m really proud of how hard I’ve worked for this, and it’s very, very exciting that I get to go with Haylee.”

Webb, a second baseman, had a great junior season as well, tallying splits of .321/.359/.486 with an OPS of .845. She drove in 22 runs, hit 11 doubles, and showcased tremendous bat-to-ball skills by striking out just 10 times in 117 plate appearances.

“It means everything,” Webb said, “Ever since I was a kid I always wanted to go to college to play softball, and that dream finally came true. I’ve always worked for it, and now I get to do it with my best friend.”

In their junior seasons, Prince and Webb helped lead the Viqueens to a dominant 33-5-2 record and a program-best finish at the State Tournament where they fell to the eventual champs and now-Class AAA school, Liberty Creek, in the semifinals.
