Donald Ray Moore, 78, of Shelbyville, died April 25, 2026.
Graveside Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 27th, at Willow Mount Cemetery. Visitation will be at Hillcrest Funeral Home Monday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. prior to the graveside service.
He was born April 1, 1948 in Shelbyville; a retired Equipment Operator for Bedford County Highway Department for 30 years; a member of the Baptist Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Samuel Moore and Estelle Curtis Moore; his wife of 54+ years, Wanda Kay Holden Moore; and a sister, Mildred Moore.
Donald is survived by his son, James Kevin Moore (Lori); grandchildren, Austin Moore, Trevor Moore (Marilyn), Chesleigh Moore; great grandchildren, Jeron Daer, Isaiah Moore and Abigail Moore of Clarksville, TN.; brother, Charles Moore of Shelbyville; sisters, Dorothy Marlin (Jimmy) of Shelbyville and Juanita Mays (James) of Winchester.
Hillcrest Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
