Ell Taylor “Scoot” Biggers

Bro. Ell Taylor “Scoot” Biggers was born in Holtland, Tennessee on April 7, 1929, to the late Ollie and Willie Mae Taylor Biggers. Ell T was a true man of God and a man that seek after God’s own heart. He was a peacemaker, loving and devoted husband, and a great example and outstanding advocate to his nieces and nephews at any time of the night! He loved his family and was always willing to give a helping hand. Preceding him in death: his devoted wife of 68 years, Mattie Lousinda Arnold Biggers, Shelbyville, TN, brothers, Charles, Doyal, and James; one sister, Henrietta Biggers Davison. He also leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted nephew, James (Henrietta) Biggers of Farmington, TN, and brother-in-law, Ora D. Walls of Shelbyville, TN; devoted cousin Annie Pearl (Tom) Smith, other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and the Church Family at the Bird Street church of Christ.
Visitation for Bro. Biggers will be held Thursday, June 18th at Nelson and Sons Memorial Chapel 824 Lipscomb St, Shelbyville 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Friday, June 19th services will be held at the Bird St Church of Christ 428 Bird St, Shelbyville, Family Visitation beginning at 11:00 am with Funeral to follow at 12:00 noon, Burial with full military honors held at Hillcrest
