James “Jimmy” Clifton Price, age 74, of Shelbyville, TN., passed this life, Friday, July 3, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 1, 1952, in Sparta, TN., to the late Jack and Lucille (Bowman) Price. In addition to his parents, James was also preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Mae Price; sister, Cynthia Glover Price; and brother, Wayne Price.
Jimmy loved to tell tall tales and was known to be a jokester. He enjoyed fishing and finding Civil War Artifacts while using his metal detector.
He leaves behind his children, Donnie Lloyd Price, Jennifer Briggs, and Shelly Pressley; grandchildren, McKenzie Heflin, Ryan Heflin, Charity Briggs and Kimberlyn Pressley;
great grandchildren, Rylee Heflin, Andrew Heflin, Ryderr Mallard, Taelyn Hampton,
Kayden Hampton, and Jaxon Hampton; and siblings, Margaret Bowman, Diane
Walchshauser, June Walls, Sheila Lovvorn, Gary Price, and Tommy “Dickey” Price.
