Jeanette Lowe Bush, 80, of Shelbyville, died September 5, 2025, at Stone River Post Acute Care in Murfreesboro. She was born May 27, 1945, to Roy A. Lowe and Evelyn Adams Lowe of Shelbyville. She was employed for many years by the State of Tennessee as an inspector at the driver’s license station in Bedford County before retiring in 2011.
Jeanette was a 1963 graduate of Central High School. She loved nature, gardening, cooking and was an avid animal lover, most especially cats.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her lifelong companion, Thomas Allen. She is survived by her sister, Judy Lowe Stone (Steve) of Manchester; niece, Tracy Brown Swan (Dennis) of Murfreesboro; great niece Sarah Ramsey (Hunter) and great nephew Connor Swan, both of Murfreesboro; Aunt Marie Bressler of Bell Buckle; and many cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 9th, at Hillcrest Funeral Home Jeff Collet officiating. Burial will follow at Lynchburg Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M.
