Paul Richard Stacy, 84, of Shelbyville, passed away January 27, 2026.
He was born October 30, 1941, in Bedford County. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, who loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and visiting friends.
Paul was a custom car collector. He enjoyed time spent with other car enthusiasts where he developed close friendships. He was a highly respected as a skilled heavy equipment operator.
Paul was known to be one of the hardest working individuals to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Matthew Stacy and Nellie Elizabeth Lytle Stacy; a grandson, Ryan Cook and ten brothers and sisters.
Paul is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elaine Marie Lewis Stacy; his children, Melanie (Dwayne) Cook of Shelbyville, Troy (Shasta) Stacy of Wartrace, Rod (Wendy) Stacy of Shelbyville. Five grandchildren, Meghan Stacy, Cameron (Kassidy) Stacy, Cortney (Blake) Hill, Shelbye (Vince) Hawkins, Rusty (Ashlynn) Stacy; eleven great grandchildren, Alivia and MaKenzie Cook, Nash, Karolyne, Cole and Nola Stacy, Barrett and Bristol Hill, Ansley and Garrison Hawkins and Camdan Stacy.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 29th, at Hillcrest Funeral Home with Daryl Lewis and Jimmy West officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m.
