Virginia Gail Bowling 84 of Nashville died March 10, 2026, at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, TN. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 14th, at Hillcrest Funeral Home with Tim Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Franklin "Bennie" Bowling and Eliza Ann Nowlin Bowling and a brother, Richard Bowling.
Gail is survived by sisters, Barbara June Bowling Tedder, Louise Bowling Bivvins (Ronnie) of Shelbyville; brothers, Maurice David Bowling (Carolyn), Dennis Bowling of Shelbyville and several nieces and nephews.
Hillcrest Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
