Earl Wayne Hurt

Earl Wayne Hurt, 78, of Wartrace, died October 5, 2026.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 9th, at Hillcrest Funeral Home with Don Gallagher officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M.
Wayne was a Welder and Farmer and a Veteran of the U.S. Army, Vietnam War. He loved farming, fishing and hunting.
He was born June 18, 1948 in Wartrace to his parents, the late John William "J.W." Hurt and Sarah Lucille Earls Hurt.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 60 years, Donnetta Hurt, and son, Kevin Wayne Hurt (Charlene) of Wartrace. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Dye.
